Join us in imagining the multispecies city of the future! The MUST Festival brings together city residents, researchers, nature enthusiasts, officials, and decision-makers to discuss how we can build cities where both humans and other species – from butterflies to trees – can thrive together.

Wednesday, May 21

We invite you to explore the MUST pilot project on the Hervanta campus, immerse yourself in a multispecies city through a puppet-making workshop, and celebrate biodiversity with us at the MUST dome theater.

Thursday, May 22nd

Join us for discussions on ecological connectivity, an urban walk following butterfly routes with researchers, and an evening focused on nature connection and the power of empathy with Finlandia Prize-winning author Anni Kytömäki and nonfiction writer Juha Kauppinen.
