A city shared among all living beings.

We invite you to reimagine and discuss urban living through a multispecies lens at the inaugural MUST Festival, organized in the city center of Turku on 7-8 June 2024.

The MUST Festival connects the newest scientific knowledge with the perspectives of citizens, activists and city officials. During the festival, participants will learn together about multispecies perspectives and be empowered with the skills and confidence to advocate for biodiversity.

The festival kicks off on Friday June 7 with two multispecies dialogue sessions with experts and city officials, and with an exhibit of Finnish forest soundscapes directed to students. On Saturday, June 8, the festival opens to all Turku residents to jointly experience, learn and discuss human-nature relationships in city life.

Save these dates in your calendar! More details, including the festival program will be published soon. While all the activities at MUST Festival are open to all and free of charge, some may require pre-registration.

The MUST Festival is organized by the MUST research project that enables multispecies transitions. Please be in touch with any inquiries; you’ll find my contact information below.
